The Evergreen TG Blow Tungsten Football Jig is one of the highest quality tungsten jigs on the market.
The jig head is made of high-purity sintered tungsten which is considered difficult to manufacture from a technical and cost standpoint. This makes the head more compact with a higher specific gravity (about 18) and hardness, than resin tungsten (specific gravity of 11-14), and lead (specific gravity of 11). This contributes to a faster fall, less snagging, better bottom contact, and a unique sound when hitting the bottom. Other features include:
- Higher hook up ratios due to its compact head
- Low center of gravity with weight distributed to the shank of the jig allows the jig to stay in better bottom contact and not tip sideways.
- A brush guard set to the minimum (6 strands) necessary so as to not interfere with setting the hook
- Fine cut premium silicone rubber skirt which requires no tuning
