Tournament-tested in Japan — some of the most technically demanding bass fishing on earth — the Varivas Under Shot Hook is the drop shot hook we reach for when targeting pressured bass with downsized finesse presentations. Built on fine wire that stays light enough to let your soft plastics move naturally, yet strong enough to hold when a quality fish commits.
- Precision Balance Design — engineered to keep your worm riding horizontal underwater, so it dances with minimal rod input and looks alive even at rest
- Gran Point Technology — Varivas's ultra-sharp proprietary hook point drives home instantly, even on the subtlest pick-up where a bass barely moves the line
- Fine Wire Construction — thin, strong wire reduces bait damage and improves stealth to clear-water bass.
Best fished nose-hooked or wacky-rigged on small soft plastics. Pair with light fluorocarbon or a braid-to-leader setup to get the most out of the bait's natural action. When the bite gets tough and every presentation has to be perfect, this is the hook that delivers.
