  • YGK X-Braid Ohdragon F1 x4 Braid is considered by many top anglers to be the highest quality sinking braid available. YGK is known for producing the strongest braid made in terms of diameter to strength ratio.

    YGK constructed this braid by assembling ultra-high strength PE fibers with a special high-density, micro-fluorine core (fluorocarbon) using their advanced WX construction method.  The Ohdragon F1 Braid has a specific gravity of 1.4 whereas the specific gravity of traditional braid is 0.98 and water of 1.0.

    The WX construction method is one in which the twist direction of the raw threads and fibers of the 4 stands is symmetrical. The result is high binding strength and abrasion resistance without significantly reducing linear strength compared to 100% braided line. Both braids are in multiple colors allowing for increased visibility of subtle strikes.
